  DO NOT SIGN UP WITH ADT! I am currently in a contract with faulty equipment and I have called customer service 9 times, I was told today by a manager named Gregory that faulty equipment is not a reason to be let out of a contract. I called in May to cancel my service because it had been offline for 6 months and my contract was expired. The rep promised to fix the faulty equipment and provide a rate of 50% off for 6 months if I renewed. I agreed to do it and a tech came out to my house. He was able to fix part of the problem but not all of them. BE AWARE THAT YOU WILL NOT GET THE SERVICES THAT YOU ARE PROMISED AND THEY WILL NOT LET YOU OUT OF THE CONTRACT! EVEN WHEN YOU ONLY AGREE TO THE CONTACT UNDER THE PRESUMPTION THAT THEY WILL HONOR THEIR COMMITMENT TO PROVIDE SERVICES THAT WILL ACTUALLY WORK
