I would love to review the work of the store inside the dayton mall however they refused to place my order in the first place. I went in on 2/12 to look into placing an order for tshirt. When I walked in I was greeted by a nice guy who seemed very happy to help me. I explained what I was looking for and showed a picture. The guy said they could do it and took me to the manager at the counter. The manager seemed happy to help me as well until I explained what I was interested in. He tried to get me to order several copies of the same shirt. I explained that I only needed one as it was a gift for my boyfriend. He asked if I was sure because they had to fire up the machine and it would be better to do it for several ahirts. At this point I should have realized he wasn't even interested in doing the order and left but instead I calmy explained that I was sure because I have one boyfriend and this was to be his gift. The manager then proceeded to tell me the shirt would be twice the price of their regular shirts because I wanted a picture not words. I said that was fine. He said the picture I had wasn't good enough so he wanted to look for a better one. He asked me to step around the counter and he went to google to search for one the second picture I saw was perfect for what I wanted. I knew my boyfriend would be over the moon about it if I could make it happen so I didn't even blink when the manager raised the price another 20 dollars. The shirt was now $100. Still i figured that was cost of custom work. I knew i could afford it so I said that was fine. The manager saved the picture to his desktop and added my phone number as its title and told me he would place the order Monday. He never asked my name and most places want to know who they are calling not just say hey you. But whatever I was already imagining my boyfriends happiness over the gift and paid no attention. I left the store then but never got a call the following Monday. I was working overtime all week until Friday (the only day we can't stay late) so i tried to call them but couldn't find a number or even the name of the store on the dayton mall map/directory. So I waited until Friday and went into the store to check to see if they had place the order and forgot to call. When I walked in the manager acted like he didn't know what I was talking about so I explained everything that happened on my previous visit. He smiled and said that he had forgotten all about the order and he would place it and see if they could do it he said they had to send it out to a different company because it was custom work. He also told me that the order would have to be shipped express because it was now 2/19 and I needed the shirt by the 25th. However I already told him that I needed the shirt by the 25th of February for an anniversary gift. The manager also gave me a receipt just so I would have the name of the store and a number to call. I decided at this point that I would not call if the manager truly wanted to place the order he would call me to let me know when it was time to come in to pay for it. Today is my anniversary and I haven't heard from this manager at all or any other employee from this company. I guess the order that I wanted was not important enough or too complicated or he felt like it wasn't worth it to "fire up the machine".
